Dr. Daniela Schmieder

Main Focus

My main research focus is on vertebrate ecology, behavior and conservation. For my PhD I studied the niche partitioning in similar, closely related sympatric bat species from a mechanical approach by using external morphological measures and obstacle courses.

PhD thesis

Niche partitioning in similar, closely related sympatric bat species? A morphological and mechanical approach with Tigga Kingston, Texas Tech University + Martin Wikelski, Department of Migration and Immuno-Ecology, MPI for Ornithology Radolfzell
