- 2011-2015: PhD training at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, Germany. Bats and environmental noise: from chatty neighbours to disturbing humans (Supervisors: Holger Görlitz, Lutz Wiegrebe, Henrik Brumm & Niels Rattenborg)
- 2009-2011: Master student in Environmental Sciences, Northeast Normal University, China. Echolocation behaviour of big-footed Myotis (Myotis macrodactylus) while commuting and foraging in different habitats. (Supervisors: Jiang Feng & Ying Liu)
