This course will cover super resolution microscopy techniques (structured illumination, localization microscopy) and light sheet microscopy by lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on. Introductory lectures for the different topics are followed by demonstration and hands-on sessions at the instruments. Also sample preparation is introduced.
Students are welcome to bring along their own sample, in which case they should consult with Dr. Martin Stöckl.
The course is open for up to 6 participants, who should register by mail to bioimaging@uni-konstanz.de by Oct 10 2016.
The course will take place at the BIC facility from Oct 24 through Oct 26.
