Main Focus

Genomics of adaptation in owls.
I am interested in the study of genetic changes that underlie adaptation in wild populations of birds. During my thesis, I will study different species of owls using bioinformatic tools to assess selection signatures in genes associated with adaptation to specific environmental conditions, related with nocturnal and urban life of owls.
